Larkspur Library Foundation

The Larkspur Library Foundation retained Page + Moris, who advised other Bay Area municipal libraries, to prepare a Space Needs Assessment of the Larkspur Library. The report was presented to the City Council. It describes the existing Library and what it needs. It determined the size of a Library for Larkspur based on its population but adjusted for changes through 2030. The report determines the efficiency ratio for libraries meaning the total square feet actually used for a library and its many services as a percentage of the a library building’s total square feet. It provides lots of interesting information about the current library and a future library in Larkspur.
