You can make an immediate gift to the Foundation of any size in one or more installments. Gifts of cash or securities can qualify for a tax deductible donation as provided by the tax laws. Many of our donors are affiliated with companies or foundations which can make matching contributions to the Foundation, and we will assist you with the information necessary for a matching gift. We have not previously accepted gifts in kind, but we would listen to a donor’s suggestion.
While many patrons of the Larkspur Library Foundation derive enjoyment from a present gift, we also appreciate a bequest in a will or trust naming the Foundation which will provide a lasting legacy for the Library. There are other methods of making charitable bequests to benefit the Foundation whether by naming it as a beneficiary of a retirement asset or as the beneficiary of a charitable lead or remainder trust.
